Usedcarsni wanted a fresh set of eyes on their very successful car sales website, www.usedcarsni.com. Looking at user data from several months (via the talented Mr @acf6t) to come up with a creative visual that met any existing problems and helped the overall customer experience in just two days.
The data pointed to a rabbit hole, once users searched for a car they got stuck on a path. Seven interactions later and the user leaves the site with no way of tracking if they had been successful or not.
The challenge was to shift this very linear user experience into something much more horizontal. Allowing users to search for multiple cars, constantly changing their search parameters throughout their browsing experience.
